About Us
Every Story Has Its Own Way of Being Told.
At Aroha Studio, we begin by listening, to the idea, the subject, the audience and the people behind it.
Sometimes that becomes a television format, sometimes a branded film, an OTT campaign, a documentary or an immersive experience. The medium may change, but the approach stays thoughtful, collaborative and rooted in the story.
We bring together writers, directors, researchers, cinematographers, designers and specialist creative teams according to what each project genuinely needs.
Television & OTT
From reality television and entertainment formats to OTT campaigns and digital-first experiences, our work moves comfortably across genres and platforms. What remains constant is the instinct for a strong story,
an understanding of the audience, and the craft to turn an idea into something people want to watch.

Branded Content
Ideas built around the brand, but made for the audience. We approach branded content as storytelling first. From films and digital campaigns to collaborations, launches and social-first ideas, each project is shaped around what the brand needs to say and how people are most likely to connect with it. The result is work that feels considered, relevant and never like advertising for the sake of advertising.

What we do
Research-Led Storytelling
Narrative Development and Scripting
Mixed-Media Production
We uncover the facts, voices and historical contexts that give every story its foundation. Research is not an afterthought. It shapes the entire creative journey.
Historical Visual Reconstruction
From ancient vessels and architectural details to uniforms, insignia and environments, we create historically grounded visuals with close attention to authenticity and continuity.
We turn detailed information into clear, engaging narrative structures, including exhibition scripts, voiceovers, on-screen content and visitor-facing text.
We combine moving image, sound, animation, archival material, visual effects and spatial content to create experiences that hold attention without overwhelming the audience.
Exhibition and Spatial Storytelling
We consider not only what visitors see, but how they move, pause, discover and connect with a story within a physical space.
